Volunteers are the backbone of our races, without eighty some volunteers we would not be able to operate these events. A few local volunteer organizations help us out each year, including the Bishop Amature Radio Club (BARC), the Bishop Four Wheel Drive Club, Sunrise Rotary of Bishop, Inyo Search and Rescue (by operating an aid station).

Opportunties to volunteer include:

  • Trail marking
  • Trail un-marking
  • Directing traffic at the race start on race day
  • Working an aid station
  • Working as a HAM radio operator (if you are licensed)
  • Working at the finish line in the kitchen
  • Cleaning up after the event

We need volunteers during the race from 5am to 12:30am and in the morning the day after the race.

If you’d like to volunteer please e mail volunteer@bishopultras.com
